ABOUT ALANA
Hello!
I’m Alana, Registered Clinical Psychologist in Barbados offering online and in-person therapy sessions. I believe in my craft. Therapy works! I have been on the receiving end of some quality therapy over the years that has helped me through some difficult times, encouraged and supported me in the good times and helped me better understand myself.
I am warm, engaging and light hearted. I value deep connection and respect the struggle and the beauty that life can be. It is my purpose in life to share my knowledge and experience with others - guiding you on your journey towards your most fulfilled self. This passion is rooted in a deep belief that positive changes in one will lead to positive changes in many.
You already possess all that you need to heal and achieve your greatest potential! But, life is tough, and as we navigate through the bumps, we build up ways of being that may see us through the difficult times but don’t necessarily allow us to experience freedom or fulfillment. That’s where therapy becomes useful – it allows you to see the barriers, the attitudes and ways of thinking, the patterns of behaviour, and the meanings that you attach that prevent you from living freely.
Whether your focus is yourself and your mental wellness, your child or your teen, your relationships, your career and future goals, or the communities that you care about, we can begin a journey towards greater insight, healing and transformation.
